My favorite face wash for oily problem skin is ZO Skin Gentle Cleanser. A couple of years ago, one of my clients mentioned she uses this brand, and after trying the face wash, I started using it daily. It removes my makeup effectively, and my skin feels much more balanced now.
I dealt with acne from the age of 11 until I was 29, and now that I’m over 40, I finally feel good about my skin. I’m happy, but I wish no one else had to go through that, especially when I see teens or young adults struggling with their skin. I just want to tell them, don’t waste your money on coffee—invest in something that will help your skin and boost your confidence. Then, once you’ve done that, go get some coffee because it’s amazing!
About the amazing face wash
The ZO Skin Health Gentle Cleanser deeply cleanses to remove oil, makeup, and impurities, making it a great choice for all skin types. Unlike other oil-controlling face washes I’ve tried, it never leaves my skin feeling dry.

Who should use it?
It’s suitable for anyone, especially those with oily skin or acne. If you’re allergic to any of the ingredients, it’s best to consult your doctor. Unlike some soaps for oily skin, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight and dry. It’s a very gentle cleanser with a subtle, pleasant scent.
How to use it?
Start by wetting your face with warm water, then lather the soap in your hands before applying it to your face in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. If you wear makeup, repeat this step to ensure everything is removed. I use only a dime-sized amount per wash. The soap usually removes most of my eye makeup, but for waterproof makeup, you might need a makeup remover. It’s best to wash your face every morning and night, but in the morning, I gently wash it just once.
Why do I like it so much?
I’ve tried countless face washes that removed my makeup, but none ever helped kickstart the healing process for my skin. My skin is sensitive to perfumes, and most products are loaded with them, making my face itch and burn. This face wash, however, controls my oily skin without drying it out, and I actually look forward to washing my face every morning and night.
Is there a face wash that has transformed your skin? I’d love to hear about it! If you’re currently using this face wash, please share your experience with it.
